Since 2003 we are continuously developing our shelter, building cages where the animals can find a safe and relaxed harbour.
A great donator has made it possible for our monkeys to even have a better life then they already had. Before our Monkeys were living in a cage with restricted space until they are healthy and strong enough to be returned to the wild.
This proved sometimes to be difficult because some monkey’s had lived in capture starting from birth and because of the restricted space available for the Monkey’s they sometimes turned on eachother and we were forced to separate them.
A great donator made it possible for us to develop our Monkey Island further and make it so wide and large with enough shelter for every individual monkey that all emotions came to rest and the Island is now a place of fun and safety for our monkey’s.
Sometimes the local Ghanaian people even pick-up baby Crocodiles and offer them to us for a small fee.
We gladly pay this fee so we can save those Crocs from being eaten for diner, the Crocodile pit is worthwhile taking a look, slowly but steadily they are becoming larger and larger, not far from being set out into the wild again as soon as they are big enough to be left alone.
